At first glance the Freehub Seal Tool appears to be overkill and unnecessary until you actually pull the freehub driver body to clean, re-grease & reinstall it by hand. It makes the difficult and painfully awkward task of re-seating the freehub seal a literal Snap!

It is possible to use sockets and a soft face hammer to install the hub bearings but it's sketchy at best. With the drifts in this kit, nut's, washers and a 9" chunk of 3/8" coarse all-thread it's pleasantly secure & well supported.

If you are going to do any of your own work on your Hope Pro 4 hubs, bite the bullet and buy this kit.
