The simple act of raising and lowering your saddle on demand makes riding more fun and has allowed for the rapid progression of modern trail and enduro bikes; however, reliability problems have plagued dropper posts since their inception. Many require elaborate or even factory service for simple problems adding to time off the bike. Simplicity, reliability and durability are the three pillars of the TRS+ seatpost design.

Sealed against the elements and pivoting on cartridge bearings, our shifter style lever offers loads of adjustment and is matchmaker compatible for excellent ergonomics. The cable is clamped at the lever, allowing for easy set-up and adjustment as well as simplified removal of the post for travel or repair.

Each seat-post employs 24 individual plies of carbon, pre-impregnated with a highly toughened epoxy resin system, designed to ensure a safe and rugged unit. The bulk of the laminate comprises Unidirectional T700 fibre of the highest strength Standard Modulus fibre available. (Unidirectional fibres provide the maximum tensile strength and stiffness with minimum weight.) This is combined with strategically positioned plies of 3K twill woven fabric, adding hoop strength to resist clamping forces and mitigating failure mode in the event of serious crash damage. The 1K 2x2 twill weave fabric outer ply, also contributes in this respect together with a super smooth finish and striking visual aesthetic

The EC70 Zero utilizes the same overall monocoque carbon construction as the EC90, but with an aluminium upper clamp. This low-profile, micro-adjusting clamp allows easy adjustment and optimal saddle clearance. By incorporating RAD™ Relief-Area Design and TaperWall™ technology, the EC70 has been intelligently designed to distribute stress along the length of the post. We also remove material in critical clamp zones to prevent pinching the carbon (which can sacrifice durability).

The EC90 Zero is the lightest seatpost in the Easton line, thanks to its full carbon fiber construction (including the upper and lower clamping plates). This thing is plenty strong too.
