The mallet pedal uses the same 4 point entry system used in the eggbeater and candy pedals with a substantial platform.  Mallet pedals are a great choice for riders who want a larger pedal surface area and are ideal for trail, all mountain and enduro riding.

With 6° of float and a release angle which can be set at either 15° to 20° it means the rider can be really active on the pedal whilst still remaining connected to the bike.

As with the rest of the crankbrothers range the pedals are fully serviceable with a level 3 / 11 service kit (product code CRB-11730).  Servicing is simple and does not require any specialist tools, just a flat head screwdriver, socket wrench and 8mm allen key to hold the pedal by the axle. We recommend that the pedal is cleaned and greased every 30 hours of riding and the bearings are inspected for wear.
